Studio Brief 2: Design for Screen

* revolve around a client
* potential avenues to explore context and avenues - creative problem within that
immersive and engaging screen based experience for a media of your choice 

  • write a brief for yourself - identify problem / client / target audience 
  • what kind of digital experiences engage the user - what is embraced - fulfil their goals and needs
  • what the user intends to be doing and to achieve when using this interface
  • must be global - breaking the boundaries of geography - distribution is vast - the reach of your application
  • use variety of media - image / audio / video
  • not necessary of essential as a designer to know coding - but how to work with developers 
  • research - justify your project 
* every brief starts with a problem 
* highlight problem then suggest how a digital based outcome with resolve that

E.G. BMW car kew app
– 'overload, clutter, and confusion are not attributes of information, they are failures of design'
E.G. Mercedes toggle that unlocks the door when in proximity 

User Interface (UI) - navigation/ menus/ passwords/ drop-downs/ adverts/ pop-ups/ swipe animations/ iconography  - all the practical and formal issues - typeface relevant's / sizes of interfaces 

User Experience (UX) - people/ happiness/ efficiency/ understanding needs/ solving problems/ entertainment/ pleasure/ how quickly and easily a user can get from A-B
