Development of moving image
The imagery for 'Skiptracing' was created using a combination of hand drawn illustrations, spirographs, photography, digital editing and digital drawings. Here the process for the various videos and gifs are outlined. All imagery is my own.
The design sought to use imagery that was distorted ideals of normal perception, and related to psychedelia. Within the photography section they relate to freedom and anti-establishment values, following this theme.

A red and black gradient was added to the image, followed up inverting effects and different grain densities.
The imagery generated by a spirograph represents the sacred geometry that shapes everything. Using hands on techniques with the hope of diversifying the styles of animated, to adhere to the visual research of existing bands successful translations of music in this way. This way of using process allows for a structured freedom of exploring how different elements of form can be manipulated to respond to music.

Again the final digital development simply looks at the possibilities and use of Photoshop Video animation and how different shapes using RGB can move in simple methods.
