Motion Graphic for Lost Spectrum Logo

Images given:

As there were so many variations provided of the same logo I decided it would be perfect to make a gif out of. The transitions from 2D to 3D and the variations of colour flow in a way that would go well in a looping gif. This interactive quality takes their brand into contemporary times, and is perfect for sharing digitally on social media platforms.
Each frame was simply separated and put into layers that would make a smooth transition from black - black & red - red - flat - depth - lines - 3d angular

Inspiration:
The geometric motion graphic music video 'Back & Forth' for artist 20syl uses red, white and black solely to construct their outerspace immersive world. This is a great example of where geometric shapes (especially the constructions of entire surfaces using cubes) and perfect symmetry is utilised in reaction to music. It's the same sort of electronic music beats and sounds that construct this alternate world, and thus is a relevant source to reference.

Final Intro Circle:
After playing around with different effects, the design progressed to combine various successful logotype videos into a loop-able video that fades in and out so it can be used with ease between the background visual videos, or on social media before (or after) an announcement for example.
