Object: Music Video

Inspired by A Love Like Pi's music video for 'Jack and the Giant', I created a music video for 'Clean the House' by Fat Freddie's Drop - a song that expresses cleaning as a metaphorical analysis of a broken relationship.

As such, using soap, water and ink in a sink, I wanted to use red and blue to contrast the warmth of lust and passion related to love, and the blue of coldness and sadness 'feeling blue'. In addition, In the middle of the video, the combining inks turns to black, representing the whole in his relationship and the mess there to clear up.

Using mirroring techniques to form interesting patterns and new forms, this edited version of the music video adds greater depth and exploration to the possible forms that ink soap and water can form.
