Tape Type Process

In order to create the full effect that using tape for the letting could create, I had to undergo a process that would keep the hand rendered effect yet digitalise it coherently. 

I first created the band names on paper, scanned them in changing the colour by inverting the image, rather than painting in its colour, so that the roughness from the edges of the tape, and the natural qualities of it remained. I then overplayed it to my image on Photoshop, distancing it into the background as the place emphasis on the title rather than to protester. 

Thus the process was: create - scan - colour (as ran out of black tape) - invert - remove background - overlay
