Goalz: Information Design Postcards

Variations in design layout for informative postcard page. Looking into the use of SDGs logo or ways of incorporating the relevant colouring of each goals into a universal language that provides ease of communication and categorising of each goal. 


Having to cut text of 13 as is the most information - maintaining the visual coherency 

Experimenting with relevant logo referencing  and placement 


Swatching the SDG specific colours - too overpowering in a blog - should be incorporated more subtly - less revision textbook-like




Refined 3 options for Peer Critique:
  1. SDG specific colours just line
  2. SGD speicifc colours goal & line
  3. Just orange of Goalz brand
 





Response:

  • Orange is coherent with brand 
  • Colourful option compliments the vibrancy of the postcard
  • Best to subtly link to SDGs - visual coherency 
  • 2 gives greater context 
  • 2 less bland and visually relevant 

The final decision to go with option 2 was representative of market research and peer response for the reasons listed above.
