In order to save costs and cut paper waste, the postcard series and accompanying information sheets were laid out in a way that meant they could all be printed on one roll of paper stock, as the chosen stock is fibre-based and thus not internationally sized.
The chosen stock was 310 thick card with a semi-gloss front, to best mirror that of a postcard.
Dimensions for all sheets were 105 x 148 mm as this was middle ground between biggest and smallest postcard sizing.
Due to printing restrictions, the background of the cards could not be printed (as no double sided printing was available for the weeks of production). This can however be mocked up for idea presentation, to give an accurate idea of the intended visual output.
The cards then had to be carefully and precisely cut along the border lines, ensuring only white edges, and flattened to deal with the nature of paper curving from roll digital printing.

*note: the packaging for the postcards would be in an eco-friendly plastic alternative covering (brown paper) - similar to how you buy sets of birthday cards*
