Response:
As the target audience is so broad, the design should reflect a strong concept that encompasses the university values. Its productions should have a high level of professionalism that will attract industry, yet maintain a playfulness and vibrancy that both represents the current student body, and speaks to the future ones.

Key university pillars:
  • Artistic Enrishment
  • Vibrant Collaborative Community
  • Using space efficiently
  • Respecting individuality
  • Progressive - experimental, radical, responsive, unconventional, risk-taking
Idea:
Imagine a world without art, design, and media. This was the basis for the Exhibition name. All the work created within the LAU institution is the foundation of what will add vibrancy, structure, creativity, and ultimately enjoyment to our societies. We are creating for tomorrow, so that the future is progressive, sustainable, and most importantly - not bland

For Tomorrow
  • painting tomorrow (fine art, illustration)
  • shaping tomorrow (all courses)
  • entertaining tomorrow (all courses)
  • creating for tomorrow (all courses)
  • design for tomorrow (graphics, fashion, textiles)
  • picturing tomorrow (photography)
  • sustainability for tomorrow (all courses)
  • equality for tomorrow (reflecting the progressive concepts behind the work)
  • housing for tomorrow (the idea of the institution/building producing tomorrows creatives)
